This was posted on craigslist but I wanted to post it here because it's a sad story and I hate bike thieves!  Also, if anyone else needs to post a stolen bike please contact me.

The 2007 Honda XR650L my wife and daughter bought for me for Christmas 2007 was stolen from behind Allegiance Federal Credit Union on June 15, 2009 at 3:25 PM. The thief, approximately 17 years old, white male 5'04-5'06 walked to the credit union from the Eastlake addition on the East side of Western Ave. between 119th Street and 134th Street. When he hot wired the motorcycle, he jumped the curb and rode back into the same neighborhood. Someone must know who he is. How can a 17 year old explain the sudden appearance of a $5,000 motorcycle?

I am offering a $500 reward for the arrest and conviction of this thief and the return of the motorcycle. The stock gas tank was removed and was replaced with a red 4.0 gallon Clarke desert tank with red, yellow, and black XR graphics. There is a short vent hose with a red anodized vent on the end to vent the gas tank. The stock exhaust was replaced with a FMF Q2 can. It will be titanium in color with an aluminum cap at the end with Q2 embossed in the cap. The seat is black on top with red sides. There is a silver cargo rack on the back. It is square on the front and back with angled sides. This piece in an aftermarket part not available through Honda. The drive chain is also red, again, not stock. The thief will probably spray paint the red plastics.

The VIN is JH2RD06167K500875. If located, contact Oklahoma City Police Department Det. Matt Wallace at 405-297-1122 reference case #09-50132, or call my cell phone 405-474-4872. You can also remain anonymous by calling OCPD Crime Stoppers.

The attached pictures were taken before the exhaust was added. Since this loss, our family vacation has had to be cancelled.

So, I was informed the other day that hulu.com has posted up the classic "On Any Sunday" and you can watch it for free right now!  What are you waiting for?  It is one of the best documentaries about motorcycles.  If you haven't watched it before than you are missing out big time.  I don't even remember when I first watched it but it was a long time ago.  Anyway, you can see it below.
